Summer Startup Ch .01 | Intro
Helllooo people of the internet,
First and foremost, I want to thank you all for ending up on this blog. You may have stumbled across this during your broad internet search for whatever, and somehow you have managed to land on this page – to which I thank you. Secondly, you are likely wondering what in the hell Summer Startup is, and for a good reason. This is the inaugural chapter of Summer Startup, which entails a variety of aspects. In this series, I will be uncovering the world of the Creative Revolution startup. A startup that revolves around the digital marketing world. Creative Revolution handles the digital marketing aspects of small businesses and startups, with a specialty in web design, social media management, and search engine management. Those are our current specialties, and that is in essence, what will be covered in this series. However, this is more than just a series of blogs about digital marketing; we will go into the day-to-day activities involved in getting Creative Revolution up and running.
So what gets Creative Revolution up and running? Well, that is a complicated answer. There is a lot involved in earning clients trust while building your brand. Shit, we might cover the breakfast I had this morning (boring, but it’s what gets me going), we will probably even cover some topics like Who to Follow on Twitter, What Application Do We Use for Social Media Management. No script, no rules, just telling it like it is, and giving you the ups and downs of building a small business.
We are going to get personal. You will get to know me, and the things I do outside of work. You’ll probably figure out what grinds my gears and gets me gassed. I also want to reach out to all of my readers, get their thoughts on certain subjects. Let’s break down the walls of the marketing world and be open about our work – not just passing along blogs and retweeting things we barely even read. And lastly, I am going to do my best to be diligent about getting this up regularly. Am I thinking two per week? Yeah – that sounds good for now. Oh and double lastly, I want to apologize in advance for any poor grammar and misspellings, I am going to pump these out, edit them as best I can, and then publish them.
And with that said, let’s just take it all in, learn something and hopefully enjoy a little bit. Oh and I almost forgot, I am open to ideas about topics, tips, and all that jazz. Oh and feel free to follow us on Twitter.
